It would have been silly to try to include up-to-date information about facilities along the trail in the first 2,000 printed copies of the guidebook. Some of these details change so frequently that even the 'locals' are unaware of them.

And we have therefore offered this webpage as a place where we can at least try to keep each other up to date with changes along the trail. We cannot, of course, accept responsibility for the information printed below - much of it has been submitted to us without verification.

Some of the waymark discs have been 'removed', particularly near the urban areas. Look for the two screws that the vandals weren't able to remove ! We are constantly replacing them and any information on missing discs would be appreciated.

Chapter One : Horsham to Barns Green

Chapter Four : Houghton Bridge to Duncton

BUSES & TRAINS. Good rail connection to Horsham, Chichester & London from 'Amberley Station' at Houghton Bridge. Infrequent bus service through Bury, West Burton & Sutton. Buses from Duncton to Chichester
